Choosing a new oil boiler
Our customer had lived in their home for over twenty years. Over time the boiler had become noisy, unreliable and increasingly expensive to keep going, and the cupboard it occupied was no longer fit for purpose.

The importance of a thorough survey
Every job we carry out begins with a detailed on-site survey. In this case it was particularly important because the customer wanted to move the boiler externally and reclaim the cupboard inside the property.

This careful preparation meant there were no surprises on the install and the works were completed cleanly first time.

Installing the boiler outside
Relocating the boiler outside meant we could site it on a tidy, weatherproof base against the rear wall of the property. The new external Worcester Bosch unit is purpose built for outdoor installation, and its compact green casing sits discreetly alongside the existing planting and decking.
With the boiler externally located, the internal cupboard that had previously housed the old unit was freed up entirely. The customer was delighted to gain a clean, dry, usable storage space inside the home.
On the day of the install, the old boiler was removed, the new pipework and flue were dressed in neatly, and the system was flushed, refilled and commissioned ready for use. We also took the time to demonstrate the controls and answer the customer's questions before leaving site.
