Common questions
How much does a home EV charger cost?
Most 7kW smart chargers start from around £950 fully fitted, depending on the unit and cable run. We provide a fixed quote after a quick survey or remote photo check.
Do I need to upgrade my fuse board first?
Not always. We assess your existing consumer unit and earthing on survey - if an upgrade is needed we'll quote that alongside the charger.
Can I still get a grant?
Domestic grants are now limited to flats and rental properties (EVHS). We can advise on the latest position and your eligibility when you enquire.
How long does installation take?
Most home installs are completed within a day, with everything tidied up before we leave.
Will the install be tidy?
Yes - we route cables neatly, use trunking where needed and always discuss the route with you before drilling.
